The nature of the service
Almohafez is a platform for booking Quran memorization and Tajweed sessions for all ages, connecting students and parents with independent teachers. An adult can book for themselves, or a parent on behalf of their child. Session quality and content are the responsibility of the licensed teacher, while the platform is responsible for verifying profiles and managing booking, payment and follow-up.
Eligibility and account creation
The person creating the account must be an adult (18 or over), whether booking for themselves or as a parent or legal guardian booking for a child. Children may not create accounts themselves; the parent creates the account and manages the child's profile. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your sign-in details confidential. Any activity through the account is the account holder's responsibility. Creating profiles under assumed names for children unknown to the account holder is not allowed.
Payment and packages
Sessions are bought as packages paid once, not as a subscription that renews automatically — there is no recurring charge and no auto-renewal. Package and session prices are shown clearly before confirmation, and may differ by teacher. A package expires once its sessions are used or its period ends, and continuing sessions means buying a new package. The first introductory session is free and requires no payment method.
Cancellation and refunds
There is no automatic renewal charged to you; simply not buying a new package stops the service. Paid but unused sessions are refundable within seven days of purchase under the package's terms, and you can cancel or postpone any session with enough notice. Sessions that were attended are not refunded.
Acceptable use
Using the platform for any unlawful purpose, to harass teachers or the support team, or to share content unrelated to the sessions, is not allowed. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that break these rules, without refunding fees in clear-cut cases.
Intellectual property
The Almohafez name, logo, interfaces and teaching methods used on the platform belong to Almohafez or its licensors. They may not be copied, republished or used in other products without written permission. The Quranic text is the Book of Allah and belongs to no one. Personal recordings you or your family produce remain yours.
Limits of liability
Almohafez is a platform that connects students and parents with teachers and organizes bookings and sessions; the quality of memorization and Tajweed is the responsibility of the licensed teacher themselves. We make a reasonable effort to provide a stable, safe service, but the platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, and we are not liable for outages caused by external service providers, nor for any indirect damage arising from use.
Amending the terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Substantive changes are announced inside the platform a reasonable time before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept the new version.
